With regard to the economy, the government adopted multi macroeconomic policies aimed at improving manufacturing capability and setting in place business-friendly regulations.
Opening Remarks
CACCI President Mr. Samir Modi in his Opening Remarks said that holding this year’s Conference in an online format has been necessitated by the ongoing COVID-19 situation. Indeed, the pandemic is having a massive impact not only on our daily lives but also on our businesses. Many organizations are currently scrambling as they re-strategize cancelled events, meetings and other activities on which they rely to bring members together, he added. He pointed out that CACCI has similarly been affected by the pandemic, with several planned gatherings, programs, and events indefinitely postponed until the health crisis is declared as safely over. He noted that CACCI’s day-to-day activities needed to be re-thought on a regular basis to deal with the changes and challenges caused by the health crisis.
