Co-Founder and Executive Director, Good Business Foundation
Chief of Staff, CACCI President’s Office
Stuart grew up in a small business family. His father, an accountant, ran several small businesses that had two primary goals. The first was to put food on the table for the family. The second was to create community impact.
From an early age Stuart saw the power of entrepreneurial thinking and business to create social good. He often spent time working in the family businesses seeing how his father worked to blend these two objectives.
These strong childhood experiences led Stuart to completing several degrees including a Master of Environmental Science at Stockholm University. Having held senior positions within the not-for profit, government and private sector he sees the value true collaboration can bring.
Stuart has lived and worked in remote communities, understanding the realities of emerging markets. He has also sat at some of the most powerful tables on the planet, having been an observer at the European Union and United Nations.
His professional interests have led him to focus on entrepreneurship and entrepreneurialism as a driver for prosperity as well as sustainability. The Good Business Foundation, where he is both CEO and Co-Founder, has a strong focus in supporting inclusive and sustainable entrepreneurship across the Asia-Pacific Region.
He speaks 3 languages and is currently obsessed with the ancient art of Bonsai.
